It's got a great deal of information and you must have plenty of time to take in the information it's very atmospheric in certain places and bring your glasses because there is a lot to read. Well worth a visit. Andy has done a great job with the auctions and has bought some lovely stuff for the jail exhibits. Xx
A great place for a day out... you need a day, as there's so much stuff.. A proper throwback place
A very interesting place to visit a lot of things to see, most of the time is spent reading the many many newspaper stories that are framed all over the walls and ceiling.Not a place for children though as there are some graphic pictures of the Holocaust and of the atrocities carried out by ISIS.
Been here twice now. Don't even know how to explain what it's about. But it's great for the older generation ,50 plus so many things that you've not seen in years. Check out some other reviews with more explanation about this lovely place cus its a mystery to me.
It's a crazy little museum, with a lot of memorabilia relating to the dark side of the world. Too many newspaper articles and odd items everywhere. It's lost its feel as a jail. I didn't really know what to expect and came away feeling like I've visited an antique/comic book shop. Worth a visit but not for 10 p/p.
