Beautiful walk around the lake. Nice little cafe. Pie & mash was spot on.

Excellent place for a family day out, and even better now with the new cafe! Open on Boxing Day for nice hot drinks, very welcome.
Visited there a couple of months ago, and it's a very nice place to walk around, you can walk around the lake and there is a cafe there so I stopped have a coffee which was ok. It does get pretty busy though, it's a popular place for people to walk their dogs. But it's very easy to get to, and a pleasant place to spend an hour or so.
Lovely walk around the lakes with the dogs. Car parking charges apply unless you have a leisure pass. Cafe may be open but they were trialling winter opening hours. It's a nice peaceful place
